What part of the Netherlands are you from? Where do you get out to fish given the lack of options?

Hi Rick,

Well i'm from Flevoland the youngest province of the Netherlands, its about 16 miles from our capitol Amsterdam. Its the part of land we stole from the zuiderzee about 30 years ago.

I fish for all the course fish like roach rudd and ide and the predators Asp, perch and pike. We have some small stillwaters over here wich i visit now and then.
It takes a lot of adaptation to do well here. The best time for the roach is in winter when they move from open waters into the smaller channels and harbours, i think thats my favorite type of fishing here, pretty cold though .
