Hey all

i'm lee many years a fisherman but new to fly fishing.
i have wanted to take up the challenge of the fly for a long time, to be honest i'm not sure what has taken me so long.
i guess you could say i have cut my teeth with a few trips to hanningfields which has produced some results my pb is a 6lb rainbow, released.
plus i have my story of the one that got away, me and a friend was fishing over the airline and had been blanking all day so i let a booby sink to the bottom after a cheeky little pause i hooked into what my friend called begginers luck. my rod doubled over after stripping me to very little backing and thumping around for a few minutes it spat the hook, gutting yes but i guess you could say i'm hooked.
