I am looking for people who might be interested in sharing information about their catches with me (i.e. their fishing book.) My Apologies if this is the wrong area to post this thread. Any takers/ideas about how I might be able to go about this?

I'd post your request on the General Discussion board, not that many people look in on the members introduction board.

I'd add a bit of information - where you fish, what you fish for, your experience, what sort of information you want to swap.
