Hello!
Im new on this forum I only joined yesterday. Im looking forward to what I can share and learn from other forum members. Im from Burnley Lancs and mainly fish on the river calder and ribble for salmon sea trout and brownies. Im hoping to have ago for the grayling this winter if I can brave it out

Welcome Paul,
I'm guessing you fish the less well known Lacashire Calder not the famous Yorkshire one, me too! There are some Grayling in there. i've caught just one, and i know a few others who have caught one in there but they are massively outnumbered by Brownies (and shopping trolleys!).

I'm told a few hard frosts will help put the trout off so I may have a go on my club water once Winter arrives.
