hello, my name is armen, i live in miami beach, glad to join the community, i am interested in fishing the flats on foot.......any suggestions??? also, would like to find a fishing partner.

You have a couple of great flats in Biscayne Bay,

The first is on Key Biscayne at the West end of the Key on the north side. Can get very busy with swimmers in the summer and at weekends. Access is difficult as the car parks are closed early evening and open late morning but if you have a bicycle you can get right up to it.

There are a few small flats on the south side of the causeway too, never seen much on them but again, if your wandering around on a bike worth a look.

The other spot that looks great but I haven't fished it yet is Matteson Hammock park. If you drive past all the touristy bit there is a car park right alongside the shore. Wading is a bit deep but on the right tide there should be a few fish.
