Default Hello from Brum

Been fly fishing twice and love it. Been carp fishing for a few years and float fishing since i was about 15 now 29. Love fly fishing and think this is the way forward got all my gear and been casting at my local park and hitting 85ft. Now just need to find more water to fish not sure if i want to fish still waters, rivers or small stream's. I have fished still water and like that and been out on a boat and love that but their seem's to be a lack of water in birmingham so if anyone can help i would be most greatfull.

Be the first to add a warm welcome to the Fora ... even if I'm 8 time zones to the West. All your contemporaries are in bed/at the pub .... or trying to pick someone up at the Pub to take to bed.

Hi Brett
I doubt that there is much fishing in BRUM , so how far are you willing to travel?
Draycote Res at Rugby can't be far?
Give it a go boat or bank your choice.

Welcome.....the nearest stillwater would probably be Packington, about 3 miles on from B'ham airport.
