Default Casting again!

Good evening all,

Thought i'd better introduce myself seeing as i will be soaking in as much info as possible via your threads!
Im based near preston in lancashire and thought to myself yesterday morning i will go and have a look at one of my old fishing grounds called Barnsfold but as with having a very young child it didnt happen a shame really as it seems i would have got to meet a few of you!
This is a comeback for me as ive been out of the game for 20yrs my oh my how gear has advanced... i was informed just today that people prop their runner beans up with 2 piece rods nowadays its all 3 and 4 sections
Im sorry if i seem a bit giddy but i feel like a kid in a sweetie shop as im awaiting the arrival of my new setup which will be here tomorrow..where i decided to purchase my tackle from was all down to reading a post on here regarding gary evan's shop in cardiff all i can say about this shop is unbelievable discount!
i must admit i was only use to stillwater fishing but im hoping to start doing a bit on the rivers aswell such as the ribble, wyre and if im lucky enough to win the lottery maybe the lune or eden..so if anyone can put me in the right direction it would be much appreciated
I think ive done enough waffling for now so and hope to see a few of you on the bank soon.

Andy

Hi Andy-My lucky water of the moment is Barnsfold and it's only a shame you couldn't get there for Sunday as it would have been nice to meet you. Enjoy this forum and hope to see you at the water in future
