Default Introductions....!?!?

Hi,
I'm new to the forum but notice that you have no area for intro's (unless I've missed it).

Anyway, I'm from a seaside town in E.Yorks but now living outside Poole, Dorset... I was brought up around and on the Trawlers but now only fish for a hobbie. I've never tried Fly Fishing before but am currently spending an hour a night learning the double haul into the local rugby pitch (I must look rediculous!)
I plan to fish in the sea only as I have no interest in fishing and not eating and I'm not a fan of Rainbow Trout.

One thing I don't get about it all is about saltwater lines??? Do I need a saltwater line or is a line a line?

Oh yeah.... My names Leigh!

Thanks for the replies, not great at these pooter mi bob's but how did I miss the intro's?
Thanks to you both, I've just used the search function and opinions are that as long as I wash my lines after they'll be fine... Since I even wash my beachcasters after fishing it won't be any extra work for me...

Went down the local playing fields after work to practice a bit of false casting tonight and am getting to grips with chucking that 1/0 lump of fluff about although it regularly hits the deck behind me and I've managed to tie an overhand knot into my leader??? I reckon I'm getting the hang of it!

Practise, Practise my friend. Welcome-I was having the same problem-still do occasionally, but my casting Has improved a lot this season and I can Actually get it out to where the fish usually are now. I'm lucky that I have a sizeable park just across the road from me-DeQuincey Park.
