Default New Member relocated to the Cotswolds

Hello fellow fly fishers.

New to the forum. Relocated to the glorious Cotswolds from Cheshire 12 months ago. I'm a landlord and head chef - fishing time has seriously suffered and I have mustered just 4 outings in the last year, hopefully now the hard work will pay off and free me up some kind of normality and I can get stuck in again !!

Mainly fished still waters around Cheshire and tarns in the L.District with a few cracks on rivers and brooks. Time-wise grayling fishing will be most viable over winter but have never tried before and do not know where to go to fish in the Cotswolds.

Have fished the Dickler and Windrush for brownies and have done ok (?!!) I think.

Look forward to having some questions answered, learning a few things and of course a bit of banter !

Kind Regards

BP

Welcome to the forum. I live in the Cotswolds. For Grayling fishing it's going to be the 'Colne' at Fairford. Contact The Bull Hotel 01285 712535. About a mile of single bank Grayling fishing. Not so handy at the weekend-dog walkers , ok in the week though. Price drops after September I think.

If you need any info/directions etc send me a pm.

Chris.
