Goodday,

I am Frederick, Living in Johannesburg, South Africa.

I have been fly fishing for about a year and 4 months now. I have been hooked from picking up my fly rod and casting it for the first time. I took me close on 4 months to actually catch my first trout. Since then I have never looked back. I have since then caught numerous trouts and bass.

I also have started tying my own flies 2 weeks ago. It doesn't look all that great to me. But I will see this weekend what the fish think about them. After all, they are for the fish and not for me.

Regards,

Frederick

Hi Frederick, Welcome to the forum. It's great to catch fish on your own flies, you will be thrilled.

Hi Eddie,

Thank you. It is great tying them, so I look forward to my first hookup on one of them.
