My name is Tom Martin and I live in the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico. I fish several times a week and will be happy to attempt to answer any questions you have concerning fishing Mexico's Yuctan Peninsula. Do not believe the reports that the area is unsafe. My wife and I have lived here for 6 years and have never, for a single second, considered our safety to be an issue. Tom

Buenos Dias, Senor Martin-So what do you fish for on the Yucatan Peninsula then? Saltwater specimens I presume as I don't think they'd have salmonids in that part of Mexico.
