tango_charlie is on a distinguished road
Default Hi

I have been viewing the forum for a few weeks now, so thought it was about to time I introduced myself. I have been thinking of getting into fly fishing for a couple years now but, living in North Oxfordshire, I'm not aware of many fisheries within an hours drive of home, so until now I have been putting it off. I take a holiday each year to Scotland and having recently also taken up hill walking, I find myself up there a lot in between for long weekends, so the opportunities to fish are more than ever. I hope to book some tuition over the next couple months and get some practice on some local waters before a week long trip to Skye in early June. I will also be actively scouring this forum for any tips I can pick up to help with my learning.

Hi tango charlie

getting some tuition first is definitely a plan. A sound investment. A good professional can also help with choosing tackle. (You can spend a fortune if you don't watch out, when you don't have to)

Good fishing
