Default Hello Everybody
Been looking on this forum for a while , gathering all your words of wisdom . You chaps know what you are talking about . What can I can say Im from South Africa been in England since 2001 . Did a lot of deep sea fishing there . I have never fly fished before . Bought a fly rod last week thats all a got , need a lot of bits and bobs still . If anybody selling reel with line ( 7wtf ) and with sool ( 7wtf sink tip ) , please let me know .

Hi Terence

One of the best pieces of information you will get from these forums, is the value of getting a casting lesson from a qualified pro (or a very experienced friend) before setting out.
If you don't have an experienced friend, a lesson in equipment, watercraft etc is also a sound investment.

But you'll have to get in line right behind me on that. Amazing what I've learned from this Fora even though I'm 8 time zones to the West, and fishing for (most part) very different fish (Steelhead/Pacific Salmon). The level of directly transferable info has been a true 'eye-opener.'
