Default Hello.

Hello all,have decided to add trout fly fishing to my usual coarse/match fishing.Only fly fished for the first time on Sat 1st Jan at Rushmoor Fisheries at Frensham Surrey,absoluteley loved it even though i was using borrowed tackle from a chap called Gary,who i had only that morning met so a very big thank you to him.I am now looking at tackle so can i ask your opinions on this deal from Keens Tackle and Guns/Wales.Greys GS2 Fly rod/reel+3 line combination £174.99.

Welcome colboro, I wouldn't rush in with a kit purchase, so many good deals out there, and a lot of very good bargains to be had on here as well.
Find your feet first would be my advice, shop around and get some more advice, before parting with your hard earned.
Get ready to off load the coarse tackle as well, now you are into the fly it will soon take over.

Welcome.As Steven has said.don't rush into buying a kit.spend some time looking through the archive on here with the search function.you'll see the same question answered many times.with lots of good info,

mrtrout/3lbgrayling.Thanks for the welcome and the good advice.I shall try not to rush buying anything before speaking with my local tackle shop,i trust their avice greatly.So i have decided to discipline myself and not purchase anything before Wednesday 5th Jan.mrtroutman i am concerned that my coarse fishing may suffer because of the new love in my life but i shall just have to be strong.
