gtbourhill is on a distinguished road
Default Hello Everybody

Hi There and I guess a Happy New Year to all on the Forum no matter where you are in the world and "Tight" lines for the year ahead.
I have fished on the Loch Lomond system for over 35 years now and although it is only now a "Shadow" of itself in terms of numbers of fish seen and caught there are always fish caught every year and like all West Coast Scottish systems we can only hope things improve.I do not get fishing as much as I used to because of work and a young family but I hope to get out more than I have.Last year I managed a "Pilgrimage" to the Rio Grande in Argentina for a week and managed my largest ever Sea Trout and biggest fish ever on the fly at 25lbs so I very much have caught the fishing bug and will be returning in the first week of March 2011 to at least catch another of those big sea run Browns. Will post pictures and stories on my return.

Thanks for reading.

GTB

Hi GTB; welcome to the Forum.

I look forward to your 'Land of Fire' reports, there are a few who fished there on here.
I visited Ushaia a couple of times, but never fished on the island, went penguin watching...
