Course fished all my life off and on since I was 6 years old with plenty of match fishing thrown in for good measure, I owned a fly rod once some 29 years ago when I was 14 and caught a few browns with it but didn't really get the bug.

But now I really fancy getting another fly setup but targeting course species such as Chub, dace and Perch, I have access on the River Tees and Leven and would really like some advice on where to start guys i.e what rod 2pc or 3pc, reel, line, flys et all for catching course fish.

Any advice would be great and thanks in advance
