Default Hello from across the Pond

Hi all,

Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Tim Boothe and I live in upstate New York over here in the US. Not sure if most of you folks have ever heard of the waters that I frequent, but I mainly fish the Delaware River System for Browns and Bows. I'll also chase some of the Chinook and Coho salmon and the Steelhead that run out of Lake Ontario. The Beaverkill is another fine river that I like to hit.

I have a question if I could: I have a reel that I'd like to list here for sale, but was wondering what the proper etiquette is here for your forum. Is there a certain number of posts a new member should make first etc.?

Thanks a million folks,
Tim Boothe

Hi Tim,

A fellow angler is always Welcome! And of course we've heard of the Delaware! We've all read Haig Browns Books! That's some super water you have there, I'm envious! Re, your add for the reel for sale? I would contact Admin! But I think you need to post a few threads before advertising on the Classified Section. Look forward to reading some of your of your future posts.

Regards

Mostyn

But first, Greetings from Darkest Edge of Southern Oregon; and there are more than a few posters located on your (our) side of the Pond.

As for your advertising question, the real answer may be a level of 'trust' as you're a new poster. I'd toss out for your consideration E-Bay, your local "Craig's List," or US based boards that you regularly frequent.
