Default Newbie Here

Hi everyone, new to the forum and fly fishing in general.

My first outing was at Raygill in West Yorks on Sunday, it threw it down with rain, the wind was horrendous and I didn't catch a thing yet I still managed to enjoy myself

I had half a days instruction and another half day will follow in the next few weeks - after that I'm on my own so prepare for lots of questions!

Cheers, Rob.

Robbie

Raygill can be an absolute beggar in the wind so hopefully your fly fishing experiences can only get better from here on in! And remember, a blank day fishing still beats a day shopping with the wife, or mowing the lawn, or [fill in the blanks...]

Haha good point there, I'd happily take a blank day over many things she makes me do!

The wind did make it very difficult and added to the driving rain it was easy to think 'what am I doing here!?' but like I say I still enjoyed it and I wanna get back there as soon as I can to bag my 1st trout
