Default River Fly Fishing Course in Devon

Hi all,

I will be running a 2 day course on how to fish rivers for trout. It will take place at one of Devons famous fishing hotels The Fox and Hounds where I work as a full time guide and AAPGAI instructor. The hotel is located on the banks of the River Taw and has over 5 miles of fishing for wild brown trout.

The course will cover everything the newcomer to moving water will need to know and will also be useful for the river angler looking for a helping hand. We plan to cover everything in depth including casting, entomology and watercraft along with modern and traditional fishing techniques so that you'll leave with a really good knowledge of how to approach and fish a river effectively in the future.

I am really sorry but we have had to change the date of the course- It is now 1st and 2nd May. You'll arrive Fri 30th April where we'll meet you and the course will start Sat 1st and run til late afternoon Sunday 2nd May. As it is a Bank Holiday Weekend we have added an extra nights B & B and fishing so you can fish unguided on Monday 3rd. I'll be around to help should you need it.

The cost is now £300 which includes 3 nights B & B at the Fox and Hounds, 2 days of tuition, fishing and gear if you need it.

What is not included - lunch, dinner, drinks and EA rod license.

Please accept my apologies for the change of dates and I hope it hasn't caused too much inconvenience
