Default South Tyne in great order - just need fishers!

The South Tyne is dropping down today and is in perfect ply for the fly. I can't believe I have only one rod fishing!

I have three rods available on our private double bank beat tue (now), wed, thur, fri. Only £34 per day for flyforum and fish&fly members. Ring and mention fish&fly or flyforums if interested. 15% discount on all cottages too for members.

Thanks

I've just heard from Jim Slasor at Lambley Estates (Trade Member) that he has a few Saturday rods left this season - peak time! For Fly Forum members he is offering a £10 cash back on bookings via www.fishtyne.co.uk. Just say flyforums and show fishpal booking and he'll refund a tenner. By booking through FishTyne you are supporting the Tyne Rivers Trust and so is Jim.

Lots of fish about on Tyne now too: 3,000+ have taken the fish pass so far this October. Mainly salmon. The South Tyne is a spate river so check river levels.

South Tyne for me this weekend!

Colin.

Just heard from Jim at Lambley Farm - a complete novice caught 4 salmon and lost one at the net yesterday in desperately low water! (Spinning). The other rods had gone shopping instead because the river was in such a poor condition. Fish were jumping everywhere apparently! Water on its way as I speak..... at a last.
