I am running two Grayling days in West Yorkshire, one on the River Calder around Halifax on Saturday 22/10/11 and the other on the River Colne around Huddersfield town centre on Sunday 13/11/11. The days will be for groups of 4 anglers and would be suited to anglers with some experience of fly fishing. The cost of the day on the Calder will be £45.00 per angler, or £40.00 if your already a member of Ryburn & Halifax. The cost of the day on the Colne will be £40.00 per angler, its free fishing, but if anybody wanted to make a £5 donation to the Calder & Colne Rivers trust it would be greatly appreciated and put to good use. The price will include flies for use on the day and the use of tackle/waders if required.

All the dates are now fully booked. I will be running another day on Saturday 17th December, a good alternative to the Christmas shopping. The day will be fished on the Calder or the Colne depending on conditions etc.

The Grayling day on the 17th December will be held on the Rivers Colne/Holme, the deciding factor being a very good days fishing yesterday, 3anglers catching over 60 fish between them.
