Default Fly Fish BC Canada, FREE!!!!

Looking for some people to come to BC Canada to go fly fishing.I am a guide and own my own company, I just started it up and i an looking for some people to come here so i can take them on a free guided trip. Yes free, all i ask is that they pay for there own way here and for food and lodging for themselves. I would take them on a Flyfishing trip to the great fishing lakes we have and to some of our local rivers. Also if wanted can take them out for a day on the fraser river for world class sturgeon.
This Summer is also a pink salmon year, they run every 2 years and we are expecting aroung 14 million to run up the fraser river this year. Pinks are a blast on the fly and can make even the most experienced flyfisher cry with joy.
The Reason i am offering this is because i would like to get some people here and have them give me a testimonial that i can put on my site to show others that my trips are worth the rate i charge.
The best time to come here for all three types of fishing is in Late August/early September. I am offering a minimum of 3 days guiding and perhaps more.

Please let me know if you are interested by e-mail or by leaving yours on this thread.
Thanks

IF only I could afford a trip over the pond
Thats a really nice offer though and I hope someone takes you up and justifies your obvious use of business acumen.
Best wishes and good luck with your venture.

Hi Rick, I have been to BC before but not fishing so I am interested in your offer, as I could see friends at same time. They are in Burnaby. What would be the costs of lodgings and travel in BC. Would we be met at airport etc etc.
What equipment would we need and what do you supply. More questions will come to mind later no doubt BUT INTERESTED.
Cheers
Chalky

Thanks guys for the response.
I'll try to answer some of the questions,
Lodgeing can run anywhere from $10 a night for camping to $200 for a deluxe cabin, this all depends on what/when/where you want to fish. Trout fishing in the interior of BC can be great at the many small lakes which only have camping, and there are also many lakes which have cabins. There is also a few private lakes where you would get trophy sized trout but his can cost up to $100 a day just to fish. Even though i have been fishing for so long i usually camp in a tent, because the lakes I usually go to are to far from any towns or cabins, and usually on rough 4X4 roads which would not allow for a trailer.
If it is Sturgeon fishing you want, the fishing is done in the fraser river, all within 1hr car ride from downtown Vancouver. There are many different places to stay close to the river or if you know anyone living here you can stay with them.
If salmon fishing is what you want to try again it is done in the fraser and lodging is the same as above.
The best time for Trout is Mid May-Late June and again Late August-Mid October.
Best time for Sturgeon and salmon would be Early August-Mid October
If you are wanting to try stugeon and salmon i would suggest to try around Mid September, this way you can have good sturgeon fishing and the Salmon is at it's peak. This year is also a Pink Salmon year, Pinks are the smallest of the Salmon around 4-8 pounds but they are very hard fighters and will take a fly on almost every cast. Oh, and we are expecting 14 million of then this year.

As for Transportation, I would pick you up at the Airport and take you to where we are fishing. If you are going to also just do the tourist thing you will need to rent a car.
As for gear, I would supply gear if wanted. The only thing i would ask is that you pay for any flies you lose and any other gear you lose when salmon and sturgeon fishing. The only reason i ask this is because i am offering this for free and i would like it to not cost me if possible. I would also ask for us to share the cost of fuel since some of the places are a 4-5 hour drive each way and if sturgeon fishing, my jet boat is a pig on fuel.
I don't know about you but if it were me going to the UK i would bring my own fly rod,I hate fishing with someone elses rod, but as i said it's up to you.
For food, if we are camping i would suggest we share the cost of the food, if you are staying in a hotel you will need to buy your own. If/when we are camping i can do all the cooking, I am a acomplished chef and love to cook on the open fire.
If you need a hand with Airfare /car rental/lodgeing, e-mail me where you are comming from and how long you want to come for and will give the info to my Travel agent and she can check out some prices for you.
As for how many people, I would take out up to 2 people, or if you guys want to get together I would be willing to take 4 of you, but for reasons you all understand i can only Offer 1 trip. So if there is 4 of you which are interested try talking to each other and we'll see if we can get it done.

Hey guys, salmon on aug/sept/oct will be great.

Steelhead in the fraser is very limited and the only other good river for steelhead is the Vedder/Chiliwack and the best time for that is right now. I went out day before yesterday and caught 2 and saw at least 8 others pulled in. I was the only one i saw using a fly the rest were using Roe and or wool.

Like i said on earlier post Salmon, Sturgeon, and Trout are the best bets in these months.
