Hello all,

I am based in Eastleigh, Southampton. Anyone local interested in potentially sharing the costs of a trout fly fishing beat, fuel etc. to fly fish on 3 or 4 days during the season around the above counties?

I try to fish either the Test or Itchen once a season (if I get a deal), with the majority of the other days tending to be on the Frome as better value for money and good quality fishing. I am looking at the Piddle and Meon plus other options at the moment. Often it can be cheaper to share a beat with two rods.

I tend only to fish rivers these days rather than still waters and prefer to wade and fish if possible. I get limited time due to work and a young family but keen to get out on the river whenever possible.

Have you fished at the Lower Itchen fishery? I have and it makes sense to share a beat there. Let me know if you are up for that and when would suit.
