Default Cannock

I'm down staying with my sister in Hednesford for a few days and i'm hoping to get a days fishing in.
If anyone could advise somewhere to go and if someone would like to meet up, even better.

Gailey Res in only a "stones throw" away, jct 12 of the m6, within a hour's drive you could fish Draycote, Thornton, Carsington, Foremark to name but a few, wish I had the time to cast a line with you. Enjoy your day where-ever you go.

My choice from there would be Thornton..not too far and Ifor who runs it is a really top bloke.

Gailey misses something..don't know what.

Thanks Roy,

If the weather is overcast with a good breeze its fishing OK from a boat, fish in the wave chasing muddlers or taking large GH dries.

If its at all sunny or bright then the other water I manage Foremark is starting to fish once again after the hot spell, again boat with the boils the place to go a few rods over the last few days have got in double figures.

Either give me a call or drop me an email & I will try to advise you the best I can

It turns out I'm going to have to fish Gailey as my sisters car has to go in to the garage and they need my car to go to alton towers.
So i'll be getting droped off in the morning and i'll need to get a taxi back so Gailey it is.
I poped in to gailey today and it should be fine, quite small and shallow so the fish "shouldn't" be hard to find

Cheers for the info guys

Stuart
