Default The Original Monkey Flies

The Original Monkey Flies on the Auction

Everybody is talking about them and recently a big feature in Trout & Salmon, because of their outperformance of other flies. However, no one seem to have spotted the real ones, they are all variants and all with good intentions but with the wrong material. We are proud to annonce that we have the ORIGINALS on the auction today, a very special ocassion. Go to www.laxaonline.com

I'm a bit disappointed. I thought this was going to be a once in a lifetime opportunity for sportsmen and hunters to shoot some flying monkeys. (I didn't really think they'd be actual flying monkeys though - probably more likely that someone would be poking them with a big stick so that they fell out of the tree and then the guns would have to get them before they hit the ground.) Oh well, I'll save my money then...

......and obviously, the heavier the monkey, the faster it would fall. It would be bad form to have say a non-uniform weighting of Howlers, Proboscises and small Marmosets. Given the different rates of descent, people would cheat and start popping them in the tree before the man with the stick commenced proceedings, and with guns about things could turn ugly. I think you're wise to save your money, maybe for the Ice Skating Giraffe Blunderbuss Festival.

Laxa,

Is it true that you can arrange for me to shoot a Rhino and a Hippo on a single big game shoot? ... or maybe an elephant or two?
