Chris
No it's a mix of Boat fishing (trolling rapalas etc maximum 8 hours per day) and shore fishing which is unlimited where we can suit ourselves fly fishing or lure fishing. Basically we have the use of 3 three boats and guides (2 anglers per boat) and can dictate what we wish to do each day. We have a mix of guys who wish to go after the big fish on lures (mostly trolling) and a couple of guys who are concentrating on fly fishing, so all styles will be catered for.
A gander at the African Angler Website will give you a good idea of what to expect and I'm more than happy to discuss any issues with anyone on the phone.

Yes, I fly fished it, still have the flies somewhere, they need to be big for the Perch, and indestructable for the Tigers !

I'll see you there probably, I'm fishing up there that week.

In fact if you are flying on the Asswan Direct from Gatwick I'll see you on the plane ( or in the bar beforehand! ). I'm the big bloke with the gingery tash.

Yes, we will be on the Gatwick .. Aswan flight (there's probably better odds on us being in the bar than on the flight !) See you there ...
I'll be in a group of six - you'll know us when you see us !
Are you booked with Tim Bailey for the week ?

Nick
Any chance of posting some pics up of the flies you used ? We will have to start tying some together soon.

What a shame, I'd have bit your hand off if it has have been just a couple of weeks later. Babysitting while the wife buggers off to USA on those exact dates..

At least I get my 11 days fishing in France in August to look forward to.
