Default Lot 26 - A days fishing on the River Derwent

Lot 26 - A days fishing on the River Derwent

This item is second of two lots that have been very kindly donated by forum member Yorkio and his club, the Derwent Angling Association Many thanks to you and the club

This lot consists of a day’s guided fishing for wild brown trout (and maybe even a few grayling) on the beautiful upper reaches of the County Durham/Northumberland River Derwent.

To be taken at a date to everyone’s mutual convenience over the summer.

Slap-up lunch provided!!

This auction will close at 21:00 (forum time) on 14th June 2010

Can we start the bidding at £20

I'm keen to win this but £35 is ridiculous and I'm not looking to get a bargain at the expense of Grommit's very good cause and Yorkio's generosity in donating the lot....so £51

Regards
Peter

To be fair, my part in this was in roping in a much better angler than myself to do the guiding bit…

I'll be providing the lunch though!

Blimey, just noticed the closing date on this one – congratulations, Marxach! How do you like your steaks done?

THIS AUCTION IS NOW CLOSED

The winner, with another very generous bid, is Marxach. Well done Peter, PM on its way

Thanks must also go to Yorkio and his angling club for their very generous support of the auctions this year

Thanks Brian.....you gotta do what's right, especially when it's (a) a charity and (b) a forum members generous donation. I'd have been put off donating in future if a lot of this quality went for £35! Christ, lunch might cost that!!

Best wishes
Peter
