Default Lot 22 - Fishing on the Wellow Brook with Dave Wiltshire

Lot 22 - Fishing on the Wellow Brook with Dave Wiltshire

This is the second of two items donated by forum member Dave Witshire. Many thanks again Dave for your continued support of the charity, really appreciate it

This lot consists of an afternoon / evening’s fishing on the Wellow Brook, 6 miles South of the city of Bath. This a beautiful little stream offering wild brown trout fishing at its best on a private beat. There’s good fly life on the brook with usually fine dry fly sport to be had. Dave will accompany the winning bidder and treat them to lunch and a pint at the Fox and Badger. (Note: Access in and out of the brook can be tricky in places, so some agility is preferable!)

This auction will close at 21:00 (forum time) on 26th May 2010

Can we start the bidding at £10

Thanks for the bids...

It's a cracking piece of water, and whilst a 12"+ fish is a good 'un, they'll pull you string really quite well

Is this the same Dave Wiltshire who outbid me on the River Derwent auction?
I bid £60 - now where did I put those boxing gloves

Go on then, £75 in the hope that Dave will also cast his eye over my self taught fly tying efforts!

Regards
Peter

For a Barclay's Banker you will have to do better than that, besides I have a score to settle with the 'Fly tier' - £85 bid.

Bring it on!

Hmmm....y'know, I could find that post pretty offensive. I hope it is meant in jest and will take it as such. I suspect you'll pay more though, and since this is for a very good cause I'll go to £100.

Best wishes
Peter
