Default Advice Needed

I bought and paid for a couple of flyboxes from a trade member on this forum 3 weeks ago and still have not recieved them. Managed to get hold of said member 10 days ago, to try and find out what the delay was and was told that he had posted the boxes but they had been returned to him because the address label had fallen off . He reassured me that the boxes were in the post again, this time with sellotape over the address label .This was 10 days ago. Now I know our postal service in Ireland isn't the best, but 10 days to travel a couple of counties? I have tried to contact him but he hasn't been online. Sick of the whole thing now. Long story short I paid by gift with paypal, can I get my money back?

I think we all know who you are talking about. I've watched the goings on for some time now. Quite frankly it's a bit of a lottery, some boxes arrive within a few days, mine did on four seperate occasions! For others-not so. I've no idea why...suppliers perhaps?

One thing I do know is everyone seems to get their box/boxes in the end. Just have to hang on in there matey.

Mick..........your only a couple of counties from the 'wee' county, think you will have to take the bull by the horns here........drive to his house, knock on his door and demand your flyboxes

Been in contact with admin and informed that platinum tackle is no longer a trade member. Did a bit of digging on good old google and low and behold it turns out that David Noon also has an ebay shop under the name FLY AND LURE selling the same boxes that he was unable to deliver to me.

eBay.com.sg: 2..NEW DESIGN SWING LEAF FLY BOX,10 EURO,S..TROUT FLIES (item 170547310388 end time Oct 31, 2010 05:05:34 SGT)

Pity. I ordered a couple of boxes a while back.
Great value, and got them quickly enough.
I know it doesn't help you though, sorry!
