Default Waskerley Reservoir

very sad to read in the weekend paper somebody broke into the fishing hut..so no more day tickets now for the rest of the season..just as it was going to get good for the autumn

cannot understand the reasoning behind a theft...its only a tenner for a full day anyway.

the miserable kernts spoil it for the majority as usual

Sub Judice prevents me from saying too much at the present time. But it is quite scary the lengths that thieves will go to.
They weren't anglers, just f*****g a**e*o**s. I will let you know the outcome in due course.

Yep it's a shame Gareth. Waskerly is a fantastic fishery. I enjoyed a few days up there earlier in the year, it's a pity we wont be able to fish it again.

For Info, There are no Season Tickets at Waskerley, only NWDAA Club Membership. To be a member you have to be proposed by a current Member, then attend interview in front of the NWDAA Committee. If anyone is considered unsuitable for whatever reason at the interview, they are refused Membership. Also, if they are accepted and then prove to be unsuitable they can be expelled.
We run the Club for the Members who all share the same ethos on flyfishing. It is not a profit making Club and not run for financial gains.

as a member of waskerley club I was shocked to see that the lodge had been damaged these are not fishermen they are scum. nwdaa is a good club and we can do without this.I feel sorry for the day ticket fishermen but the committee had very little choice with there decision at the moment. I hope the club have information on the B.....DS and take them to court
