what is the best book to get which will help me choose best fly to use and how to fish it i just need to know correct fly for each ocasian ie river,still,and resevoir pics would be good so i can recognise them thanks

Have a look for John Goddard's waterside guide... nice book... entomology book with suggestions of what is a decent imitation..

O'Reilly's "Matching the Hatch" is a user friendly and readable introduction to flies.
