Default Personal best wild brown trout.
Just caught (and released) it.

I've had to come off the river - nothing else could match up to that today. Beautiful heavily spotted cock fish 20" long and in great condition. Took me all over the river before I could bring him in to release him.

I'd love to say I took him on cane, but I didn't. I was fishing plastic today.

He took......... a GRHE.

What a great end to the season!

No pictures mate?
20 inches, would give it a guess at 3lbs??????

6 lb 2 oz on the fly , with a good few not far behind that

Sorry i caught it in a big water fishing for salmon with a worm
