Default New Knee Pads For Next Season

Hello all i seem to be doing more & more stealth fishing especially when we get dry periods in the summer months. I have been using these knee pads all season for my crawling about.

But i am not happy with them as the hard plastic lip at the top digs into the top of your knee cap. Also even though they have 2 straps they still move up & down your legs unless you have the straps very tight but then the straps dig into the back of your legs & they become very uncomfortable. Can any one recommend a brand of knee pads that they find very comfortable & trouble free when walking up small rivers midget style. Cheers

Here are load on here.
Kneepads - Buy quality Kneepads at Screwfix.com

I have a double layer on my chesties at the knee but not sure it would stand up to a lot of abuse.

I have worn knee pads for the last 20-30 years for my job-floorlayer. In my experience tie ons/seperates are all uncomfortable and generaly pish.

The only ones that work and are comfortable are the ones built into a trouser. Go onto any floorlayers accessories site and you will see them. Only thing is you would need to wear waders on top all the time, needless to say they are not waterproof.

Snickers are the ones to buy. Not cheap (65-70), but they last me for a year and more crawling around on hard floors...concrete and stone. Really tough and above all comfy. The pads are replacable. May not suit you but worth a thought.

If your serious, buy the trousers with the insertible knee pads, they won't irritate the back o' yer knees. What u like! crawling around like a comando!

Hi Rabmax

I was wearing a pair of these today fishing a difficult stream crawling around over rocks and tree roots and they were very comfortable. Didn't move around much on the leg either.
