God there's one born every minute who in their right mind would pay to advertise a magazine.

I dont have a waist coat /vest , maybe i'm incomplete as a modern angler . the thought of wearing one, makes me cringe . If that makes me vain then so be it , i stick my gink bottles up my generous nostrils and wrap my spare leader round my ears , its just quicker that way when your a trout master ....

Well done Koz, I managed for years too, but was bought one many years ago, off a market stall. Other than a hole in one pocket it's fine.

Really useful, depending where you fish of course.

I do admire your refusal to wear one though.

Go with the bo!

Ive just got this bee in my bonnet about trying to keep it as simple as poss , to much gear and too much money involved, god knows , i'll probably fall victim to the sleeveless wonder vest one day ....

I ditched my flyfishing waistcoat last season. What a liberation. Who needs to carry all that **** around? Heavily laden, clanking along the bank, tools and gizmos swinging on their zingers, like some US marine on patrol in Falluja. A box of flies in one pocket and a reel of tippet and some snips in the other is all you really need. It seriously improved my fishing experience.
