ive seen some taperd leaders on essential fly they have an offer on.they are 4x doese my tippet have to 4x too ?i have hardy tippet 4x .16mm diameter but the diameter of the leader is slightly bigger is that ok? ta.
the leaders are £1.80 im sick of paying £4 a go for the hardy ones.

Yup smaller is fine as long as the stepdown is not too great.
