Default Airflo Di5 Sweep - Why is it rated as the best Sinking Line to use.

Just wondering why the Airflo Di5 Sweep is rated as the best Sinking Line to use.
Does the curve really make that much difference?
Why is it rated better than the Di5 Sixth Sense?
No one seems to mention using or buying the Sweep Di3 at all - why?

Your comments will be appreciated.

Not sure where you got this "rating", but I guess it would be a good choice after a floater and an intermediate for someone boat fishing.

It's benefit is it's versatility - the tip sinks at 3 ips and the belly at 5 ips so you can pull it fast and fish 3 or 4 feet down or let it sink and develop the curve on a slower retrieve. The 3 sweep is not much different from a fast glass.

A lot of my mates fish the 5 sweep as there go-to line but I am actually not the greatest fan of it.

Whist I own a Di5 sweep, and can see the advantage of 'the curve', it makes me laugh that years ago density compensated lines were being marketed as the best thing ever. These were said to sink on a level plane, and I can see the advantage in that too. My fifteen year old Wetcel II still seems to catch fish though, and it was old technology when I bought it. I presume the Di 3 doesn't attain sufficient depth (at least when pulling) to form a curve?
It all makes my head spin, that's why I invariably fish a floater!
