Default Sportfish

I've had a lot of dealings with these in the past, and I have been quite satisfied on most occasions, but not so in the future, I've never received any feed back whatsoever to emails I have sent, WHY, I just don't know, in future I will give all my business to John Norris of Penrith, and if he can't supply the gear I require, then I will do without it, I hate ignorant folk and Sportfish has moved to top of my list.......

Not too tolerant of people's mistakes then. Best not make any of your own because if you won't tolerate mistakes in others, don't expect others to tolerate mistakes in you. Straight & narrow for you from here on in.

I used Sportsmail a lot and had no issues and then I couldn't get a reply to a string of emails and haven't bought anything since - cost them many hundreds of pounds.

Is not answering customer's emails a mistake???
Come on, grow up, get a life....

An afterthought, yes it is a mistake, and no, I won't tolerate those sort of mistakes, as I wouldn't expect people to tolerate me if I made those kind of mistakes, but there again, at my age I don't give a s**t, I was always taught to respect my elders, there's not many left now to respect.

I've had the same problem. I still use their mail order service and I must say that's excelent, however I have sent a few emails and enquiries in the past and they never reply.

Always had excellent service from Sportsfish but I've never e mailed them. If I have a query about an order I ring them up and speak to someone. May be old fashioned but it works.

Grommit's Game Fishing Supplies all the way!

His staff are superb and typically reply to emails within a few hours if not within 12hrs.

And, they will always contact you by phone or email if they dont have something in stock.......hard to come by that sort of customer service.

Free postage too!

Thumbs up

Been using Sportfish for over 20 years and had nothing but outstanding service from them, particularly from Danny North, who I would generally deal with.

Never e mailed an enquiry to them, but when ordering by telephone the items always arrive in N.I very promptly.
