hi guys, im refering to the strecth between crookston bridge and hawkhead. does anybody fish this? it is local to me and have been trying for a while but saw nothing but minnows. have heard in this stretch there are brownies salmon and greyling too in the winter. can you confirm if this is correct and any spots you know of where i can find decent fish? ive tried all the deeper parts and never had anything big on my line. there all only realy a few parts of the river that are relativly deep. going into autum in intend on trying for greyling, so any advice would be great, as it is a lovely river and local and would be great if i could get the hang of it. have heard good stories but cant seem to master it or find the fish myself. right enough thats the story where ever i go! so any tips appreciated. cheers guys
