Default Fly Dressers Guild (John Watt Trophy)

Hi Again

Sorry missed bits out of previous post re the above.
Anyway the 4 lads from Ayr Travellers won the annual fly fishing held on Grafham (The John Watt Trophy) on Saturday. They went one better than last year as they finnished second.
A suberp result by the 4 lads.
The team was Alec Bowler, John Anderson, Stewart McCormick and last but not least Wullie Riddicks. Wullie I think decided to be captain nobody would argue.
Alas there are only 2 branches of the Fly Dressers guild left in Scotland .

Well done lads you did good
See you all on Monday 6th September at ou first meeting .
You can give us a fish by fish account of your tremendous victory.

Regards
Papa Smurf

Well done lads. We'll give you a run for your money next year ..

I thought you like it very rough (the waves that is etc.) for wet fly fishing

Good to see Grafham produce some good fish and good bags.
