Default Stenhouse Reservoir, Burntisland?

Does anyone fish here or have more (current) information on it?

TIA, Gary

I've come across that info before Bob, it seems a bit dated though. I like yourself, have passed by on a few occasions but never ventured near, or heard of any reviews. It does look interesting though, perhaps I'll take a jaunt some weekend.

I see you're a Kelty chappie, I belong Kelty but moved to the Toon last year

Fished it about 4 or 5 years ago, lovely water to fish with good depth throughout, good bankside vegetation, and trout were fin perfect. Remember hooking and losing a cracker which I never managed to get to the surface, and fellow with me caught a 4lb beauty. Was a very windy day though and it's quite exposed as it's quite high up, decided to down tools about 2pm as we were surfing along at a rate of knots on the drift. Had forgotten all about it till reading this, must go back, really enjoyed it.

had a good day at luscar this week. the fish were coming up for daddies and fighting really hard. i just dont like how they limit the amount of fish you can C+R

ive never fished balado. just found out it existed about a month ago so i went down for a quick look. is it the same prices as kinross fishery? ive heard its the same guy that owns the 2 waters? i usually fish 8 hours C+R for £13 at kinross.

It's Ken who owns both waters. 4hr C+R is £12, 8hr is £16. Father & Son 4hr, 4 fish is £20.
Well worth a visit!

I'll have to give Luscar a go sometime.

Gary

PS: I'll be there from about 8:30am tomorrow

Default Stenhouse Update

Hi All

I have been a long time reader of the forums, but this is my first post.

I was in the area this week, and could see a couple of cars parked up, so I decided to go and take a look.

The guy that had been fishing had come over and I had asked if the water was open.

He was saying that Stenhouse is now under new management as of last week, and it has been stocked with rainbows, with plans for more this week and regular restocking.

The area has been tidied up a good bit from what I can remember, a lot of the bank weed has been removed.
There was also a few catches logged in their book.

There is a good chance I will pop down this weekend, as it looks promising.
