Exclamation lake of menteith

Hi all, I am going to fish a comp on the lake of menteith in sep 2010, never been to the water but have heard great things. Only thing is many are tight lipped on methods and flys. If any one could help in this area it would be greatly appreciated.

I would seriously advise you to fish it at least once before you fish the comp. I made the mistake of not fishing it and it showed as i blanked for 7 hours of fishing. White boobys, okey dokeys, vivas, variation of buzzers, snatchers, nymphs and wet flys. Just the usual suspects. Keep searching the various levels and change your fly patterns regular if ones not working and you shouldnt go far wrong. Good luck mate
