Default River Web-cam set-up

As I am sure so many people do, I find the river web-cams really useful. They certainly allow you to make a better judgement call as to whether to fish - useful if you're travelling some distance to your chosen venue.

I wonder though, how do you go about setting up a web-cam on a new river.

I'd love to have one for some smaller streams I fish... but have no clue where to start.

In anticipation... and with thanks

Dave ,
i guess i would speak to the WUF ,they have a set of rather fine webcams for their rivers and when they are working it is a god send for planning salmon fishing ,especially for the long distance traveller like me !

Good idea Andy. I also wondered if the EA were worth a call.

Just wondered how the connexion is arranged etc.
