Default advice of 3 weight rod

Hiya,
I am looking for an affordable (under £100) #3 rod, preferably 8.5-9'.

I generally fish areas of the upper Avon. This year I have used my #5 Hardy Demon which has been good, but has been a bit over the top for the small trout I have caught, maximum has been about 1 1/2 lb, most more about 3/4. Any advice would be welcome as I am relatively new to fly fishing.
I am willing to buy second hand or new, so feel free to recommend something that costs over the £100 and I can look on ebay etc in the hope of finding a bargain .

Thx in advance,
N.

Sonik do a great rod for a very reasonable price. If you prefer a middle-to-tip action rod, as I do, you may want to check out their Sonik 3 range.
