Default Uncle Sam Needs You!

Czech Nymphing Clarification needed!

We are having one heck of a battle here on a web site. The fellow that posts here by the name of Overmywaders wants to take fly fishing back to the stone age. We have some water that is managed as Fly Fishing Only. Years ago we were not permitted to use any weight on the fly or line. Now fly fishing has progressed and the regulations in most states reflect that by changing the regulations to permit weighted flies in the FFO areas.
Overmywaders has been attempting to stop the use of bead head, cone head and Czech nymphs and anything else that might have weight in it as well as the use of strike indicators! The New Hampshire F&G Dept biologists have reviewed his proposal several years ago but he is back with the same proposal again attempting to change the regulations to un-weighted flies and there is threat to petition to have the FFO regulations done away with and allow the spin fishermen to fish the water. He is supported by some of the most extreme right wing Conservative outdoorsmen in America. Their knuckles still drag on the ground!
