Hi Gary.....

The smaller reel ( 70mm ) was intended to hold my smaller silk line 2wt, and the larger one (75mm) for my 4wt. Both reels would also take at least 75yds of backing. You are also correct Lawrence no-longer makes these reels due to the amount of time involved in construction, these are now considered to be collectors items.
