Default Hardy,s Museum Video with Jim Hardy himself

from tightlines last night on sky sports ,Jim Hardy who, at 80, is the last remaining member of the family line involved in the business,on about the one and only Perfect reel ..............

Many thanks for posting that Bruce; very interesting and also very evocative.

A good prelude, in fact, to 'The Lost World Of Mr. Hardy' documentary, which I intend buying soon and which, by all accounts, is even more evocative of a way of life (and fishing) now gone forever.

By the way, the 1978 Hardy catalogue shown in this clip, with a young Jim Hardy on the cover, is one which I had (along with 15 or so others) and which I 'binned' in 1992, a year after I gave up fly fishing!! How I wish, now, I had kept them all.

The urge to start up again, however, was rekindled and I finally came back to it last year.
