Welcome to the Forum.

Which Afon Twrch are you staying by?

Afon = River

Twrch = Mythical wild boar, or mole - burrowing. (Several rivers of this name in Wales).

The little Dee just above Bala lake at Llanuchllyn is joined by the Lliw and Twrch tributaries.
Bala Angling Association newmaster tickets cover the lake and Lliw and Llafar tributaries. The Twrch private or restricted (PAAS - lonnng waiting list).

Ask at local outlets for info: newmaster
