Default Why This Forum's so Good

Hi all
I started a thread a couple of weeks ago about a fourth coming trip to Avington & Dever Springs. As it is my first time fishing either of these venues I asked for any advice anyone could give me.
I received a few replies and PM's, but two in particular, one from Browniebasher (Alex ) who gave me some good pointers and suggested a few patterns to tie.
I received another PM from Pan (Paul) asking for my address. A few days later a letter arrived with some Damselflies and Stalking bugs as well as the tying instructions. If that wasn't enough last weekend I received another 8 page letter from Pan containing diagrams and instructions of where to find the bigger fish at both Fisheries.
I would just like to thank both BROWNIEBASHER & PAN and hope that one day when I have more experience that I can return the favour to someone else.

Thanks Gazza

Well that is certainly good to hear, although not necessarily unsurprising as I can only echo your comments. I don't know PAN but Alex has always been helpful on Avington. Would be interested to hear about the spots for Dever though if possible???
