I ordered European Nymphing DVD on 14th July. First of all I was overcharged due to the currency converter on the website not being updated. When I challenged this I was told I would receive 6 other DVD's gratis which is worth more than my 5bucks as he put it.

It was then passed to his Website manager who was a little more compassionate, and issued a refund for the overcharge. I was not looking for a refund, just for him to say 'sorry about that, your stuff is on it's way'. Furthermore, I sent numerous e-mails to which he has replied to none.

The website states 6-10 days international shipping. As I paid through paypal this has now result in me opening a dispute as I have not received any goods whatsoever, that escalated to a claim in which I received a full refund.

I'm actually quite disappointed that I did not receive the goods and prevent this from going further, but more so the fact he tried to rip me off not once but twice.

As for paypal their service was invaluable.

Jack Dennis may be a world class fly fisherman, but by no means a first class businessman. I think its about time he woke up to his short comings!

My opinion, is stay clear of Snake River Books!
