Default Strange ways

I often watch , as we all do, other folk fishing, I see a guy gets a fish on, he puts both hands in the air and his rod poking up into space, just stands there, sort of mesmerized, I wonder what's going through his mind, A terrible waste of energy in my mind....each to his own!!!

I'd hate to know people were watching me fish as I get quite nervous. they'd also think I'm mad.

When I get bored I usually start to make up casts. Imagine conducting an orchestra with your rod and you get the picture or sometime I play cowboy and swing the line above my head like a lasso.

I think I may have met you. Do you also use your landing net and boots to dispatch fish?

I seen someone yesterday playing a fish and instead of putting the rod tip up he pointed the rod tip at the fish and seemed to have tug of war with it

Default Slack line fishers

Have you noticed the guy in the corner, always there. You walk past, ask "how are you doing" he says ah, nothing much, not had a touch yet!

When you look in the water, his line is slack with about three yards at his feet. Around ten minutes later, he in. Good fish too.

How do they do that?

Regards

When out Wednesday, notice one bloke into a fish, he then had the rod butt on the floor and was holding the rod half way up with landing net at the ready. I didn't see him land it as I was into a fish myself.
